quotes for gp
I think I've shown half the world this last year, but it made me smile in the midst of CT agony, while reading through my notes, so I'm going to share it again:
"Attention to health is life's greatest hindrance."
- Plato (427-347 B.C.)
"Plato was a bore."
- Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900)
"Nietzsche was stupid and abnormal."
- Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910)
"I'm not going to get into the ring with Tolstoy."
- Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961)
"Hemingway was a jerk."
- Harold Robbins
Adding to my collection, of course, is the one and only best quote I've heard in the span of my 17 plus years on the face of this Earth:
"You gotta do what you gotta do" -Jesus Thedeas Gonzalez, Associate Professor of the National University of Brazil (NUB)
:)
To end off, a heartfelt cliche courtesy of William Shakespeare:
Doubt that the stars are fire, doubt that the sun doth move, doubt truth to be a liar, but never doubt I love (you).

never gonna catch tommorrow
girl you just can't dance foreverAll this trying to mug is stressing me so much I got a pimple on my cheek. And I can't get past the stupid level on my phone's blockbreakers, which I am only playing to distract me from mugging. Life sucks.
Alright stop laughing at my expense, it's times like this when we wonder what we are doing, really. I'm not convinced that I will apply diffrerentiation and integration in real life (although I did just spent a long time studying their applications) at all. We're all working towards a good life, but we already are burning it away.
Well I really shouldn't procrastinate anymore.

absence makes the heart grow fonder

Sara Bay left for Australia two weeks after she informed us indirectly. Suddenly we treasure the moments we had come to take for granted, and through playing hide and seek with her other friends to steal more alone time and runing like fugitives around the airport in search of mochi, came a sense of holding on to, well, sara of course, and the stupid things that we found thrills in. I didnt shed a tear because I know you'll be happy and back to visit soon.
Dance like everyone's watching.
'The Sunflower' by William Blake
Ah, Sunflower! weary of time,
Who countest the steps of the sun,
seeking after the sweet golden clime
where the traveller's journey is done;
Where the youth pined away with desire
and the pale virgin shrouded with snow.
Arise from their race, and aspire
Where my sunflower wishes to go
Take care, my Little Sunflower

cross worlds
Thank you baby
Thank you friends
Thank you teachers
Thank you medics
and thank you so much GOD
CJC cross country 'o7 is the bomb seriously
best experience ever
I'm serious
ran past the finishing line and then there was blackness
really wanted to get up and stop fainting but my muscles wont listen
when they put me on the stretcher i was trying not to fall off
could hear but i was frozen
thank GOD for nigel and ming
and of course mr tay
you're so sweet, haha
after a while i unfroze and i think i vomitted
got out of the ambulance and lay on the grass
cos there was more air, and
i was contemplating the questions of the universe
so i wanted to see the sky
right then, right there
with you by my side
When something like this happens
you'll find that the constrictions that society has integrated into your brain loosens
so that the essence of your soul finds its way out
and you find yourself.
I also found the people who are my real to me
If i laughed then, it wasnt just the high of the moment
I was happy to have found all of you
who made me the happiest girl
yesterday
